§Section 37b EStG regulates tax deductibility. This is because promotional items are generally deductible as advertising costs. Regulations.
As the EU continues to grow together, legislation and regulations are also evolving. Uniform regulations and standards that apply throughout Europe are being issued with the overriding aim of protecting consumer health and the environment and only allowing “safe” and harmless products onto the European market. This is nothing new, as laws such as the “Equipment and Product Safety Act – GPSG” (now “Product Safety Act – ProdSG”), the Toy Safety Directive, the Food, Commodities and Feedstuffs Act (LFGB), etc. have also regulated the provision of products on the market in Germany in the past.
